TOTAL REFIT HATTERAS YACHTFISHERMEN WITH REBUILT MAINS. This yacht has been refit from the keel up by Frank Hoehenhousen the owner of Tampa Marine (Ex- Riverhawk Marine). It was his personal boat and his work crews worked on it from 2007 to 2014 refitting the entire boat during their slow periods. Frank spent in excess of 1 million on the restoration of this yacht over a 7 year period. The upgrades on the yacht are too many to mention. The interior is all new Mahogany, the carpeting is new in the Saloon and master suite, the sole in the galley, main hallway and front cabin is new Teak and Holley, the electrical system is new, the plumbing is new, the Detroit Diesels have been majored with less than 300 hours, a new Onan genset with less than 200 hours, the exterior of the boat has been painted with Awl Grip and looks new. There is not a better liveaboard trawler on the market in this price range. She looks good and motors well. She cruises at 9 knots all day burning 8gal – hr. The DDs are naturally aspirated. Some boats are set up for fishing and others for cruising with your friends. Rarely does a boat come along that walks the line of being good at both. Careful and smart upgrades make this Sea Fox a wise choice. A nice deep vee hull with high gunwales for a dry ride and flush mounted trim tabs to keep things stable when the throttle is down. Optimax power, the gold standard in 2 strokes, rebuilt in 2015 with 83 hours. Throttles and cables upgraded too. Snap in carpets, console cover and a full cover too. There is enough room in the console 59 headroom for a porta-head. A complete overkill in this case, overkill is a very good thing stereo with Kicker subwoofers, Kicker amps, and Sirius radio. Ready to party at your favorite bay island with a 90-quart cooler and propane BBQ grill on the stern. Set up for fishing with Garmin GPSmap 740S do it all. Built-in 80 gallon live well, generous fish boxes and raw and fresh water washdowns to keep things clean. There are some signs of small spider cracks where the handrails are bolted to the boat. The second owner had the tank removed repaired and there are signs showing the deck repair. Nothing structural but it needs to be mentioned.
