Boat is in Montague, Michigan.
Built in 1937 by George Gamble Shipyard in Port Dover Ontario originally as a Great Lakes fish tug, she has been converted into a trawler.
The hull is 18" to 14" welded steel plate over steel frames.
Power is provided by a 6-cylinder Perkins Model 6.354 diesel with 2,755.05 hours. "STEEL AWEIGH" is a unique trawler.
She is sturdy and roomy Sleeps five adults.
AM/FM cassette, 2 anchors, windlass, AIS VHF new 20011, auto helm new 2011, carpet, Coast Guard pack, compass, depth finder, GPS chart plotter new 2011, dockside power, Halon, full gauges, hard top, head, H&C water, radar, Galley, refrigerator, stove, 3 batteries, swim platform, slip available, always in fresh water.
It was for sale at 35,950 until it developed an engine problem.
