Glass hull, wood deck 1966 Howard SK with mid cowl--Hull and stringers are in excellent condition--stringers and floor will need prep work to your standards before final finish--Deck and supports are in very good condition--Deck will need approximately 2 sq. ft. of repair/ replacement prior to your application of veneer or gel coat--Dash cowl, mid cowl and rear deck have been refurbished using Hydro Tec Marine plywood and West systems epoxy over original supports that were freshened as needed.
Original parts to this Howard are: The complete steering system including pulleys, quadrant, rudder, steering shaft and Superior 500 Wood Steering Wheel, The complete Cavitation Plate System including Cav plate, supports, control rod and lever, The original dash layout with a new 3/8 " mahogany cap, The original passenger side chromed twisted steel grab bar, Skeg, prop shaft, log shaft, prop support, prop shaft and prop are included as well.
Also included are the turbo -350 trans shifter, the turbo 350 trans case and the drive shaft to the V-drive.
V-drive is mounted.
Engine is a 455 Olds with forged pistons, ARP rod Bolts, Nodular Iron crankshaft and 268 degree hyd. camshaft.
Edelbrock intake and carb are part of the sale also.
Exhaust, manifolds, downturns and tips are included but not original, Fuel tanks, fillers and supports are included.
The original Polished aluminum Flexplate cover/ rear motor mount is included if the new buyer should decide to use the original long driveshaft/ no transmission driveline configuration.
The trailer is the original dual axle, chromed fender, hydraulic brake unit and is roadworthy.
A bill of sale will be supplied with the sale as Colorado requires boat registration only when the boat goes on the water.
Trailers are plated separately at time of road use so you will need to bring the proper documentation for road use.
I will consider negotiated partial or complete delivery depending on location and terms.
I would also arrange international shipping if necessary.
This project is not necessarily for the faint of heart but is a very sound, relatively complete, less details beginning for your very own '60s Hot Rod Ski Boat.
