The boat is a 1992, Catalina 42, Mark I, 3-Cabin Pullman, Sloop, and was hull number 313 manufactured by Catalina.
It has a 50hp Yanmar Marine Diesel Engine that in fact runs like a top.
I changed the oil, polished the fuel tank, and replaced fuel filters about 2 years ago.
Since I live and work in Houston these days, I'm away from the boat a lot and can't take it out much (which is the primary reason I'm selling it).
Every time I start the engine however, even though I've been away for several months, the engine always starts easily on the first crank.
The hull was resurfaced and repainted five years ago.
The canvas, interior upholstery, and hot and cold water piping throughout the boat were all fully replaced three years ago.
The battery banks were replaced two years ago.
The sails, mast, shrouds, rigging, and lines are in good shape.
I am replacing dock lines now.
Even though I'm away from the boat for extended periods, I have a boat maintenance man (a former long-time Catalina employee), who does routine maintenance, and washes and waxes the boat regularly.
A diver cleans the hull once each month and replaces zinc's as needed.
It's located in slip B-1912 at Marina del Rey, California.
Included with boat is a dinghy and 2 hp gas dinghy motor.It has a Heart Power Inverter, functioning radar, auto-pilot.
