This is a 1990 Bayliner 3288 (32 feet in length and 11.5 foot beam) with twin 150hp four cylinder Hino diesel engines.

Engines are mounted under the aft cockpit which results in a semi-tunnel drive for the shafts and props.

It is a trawler hull design and very seaworthy.

If you look this boat up on the web I think you will find comments about the boat and its layout that are quite favorable.

In our five years of cruising with this boat I have been really impressed with its overall build and performance.

Simply said, it continues to be a rugged boat.

The engines have 1488 hours, which is considered to be very low hours for diesel engines.

We have added about 300 hours in our five years of use.

I would rate the overall condition of the boat as being very good.

Being that boat is 23 years old, there are some cosmetic issues, but nothing that interferes with the use or enjoyment of the boat.

The engines in particular have been essentially bullet proof for us.

There have been upgrades made to the plumbing, head and electrical.

She comes with an older Raytheon radar, Garmin 6200 chartplotter (with depth, fish finder, etc.) that currently has a lot of courses already plotted from Cape Cod to Penobscot Bay (plus several off shore fishing spots) and VHF radio that is synched to the GPS.

I re-upholstered the bolsters around the cockpit and have replaced several places where wood had deteriorated.

The boat has helm stations on the fly bridge and cabin.

Saloon cushions had new coverings just before we bought the boat.

One of the beauties of this boat is the panoramic view from the solon.

There is a 'king' size bed in a lower berth area that has a sink and ample storage.

There is also the forward V-berth with additional storage and a hanging locker.

The galley is complete with a frig, three burner propane stove and oven, micro-wave and double-sink, all in good working condition.

We have spent 9 out of 10 weekends each season on the boat and the propane tank has lasted two years.

The head has a stand-up shower.

The pump mechanism and joker valve for the head were replaced this season.

The vent for the holding tank was just replaced.

The boat has an 89 gallon fresh water tank and a 39 gallon holding tank.

There is a 10 gallon hot water tank that heats off the engine or 120v (i.e., shore power or carry on generator).

There are 2 shore power cords on board.

There are two 100 gallon fuel tanks.

Our fuel economy this season was a bit over 3 gallons per hour while using both engines.

Cruising rpm speed for us has been around 2200, which gives us about 9 knots, give or take depending on tide, etc.

They say the boat will do 16-17 knots, but I have never pushed this boat that hard.

The engines are turbo charged and engage when the rpm is up around 2400.

At that rpm we generally see 11-12 knots, but I run that speed for just a few minutes every 4-5 hours to clean out the turbos.

Winterizing has been completed and she is shrink wrapped, but will remain accessible for inspection via a zipper door.

We have traveled in seas of 4-6 feet without incident, but we also try to avoid moving in foul weather.

That's just us I guess.

I have attached a few photos taken at the time we bought the boat.

I would add that we moved up from a 26' Carver.

This boat has a ton more room than the Carver, is much more sea kindly and just feels way safer.

Reasons for choosing diesel included economy and safety (i.e., lower risk for fuel related fires/explosions).

The choice to go twin engine was to have redundancy of power in case one engine is disabled (e.g., snagging a lobster pot).

Fuel tanks are currently full for the winter with fuel purchased at Vessel Services in Portland.

Anti-fungal stabilizer added when I winterized the boat.

Sale of the boat comes with an offer to have me provide as needed instruction for piloting the boat (e.g., docking), use of the GPS system, winterizing and spring commissioning.

I have done all of the winterizing and spring work.

Asking price is $45,000 or OBRO.

Feel free to call with any questions.

Thanks for your consideration.
