Awesome 1990 18ft Custom Built Wood Tug Boat W2002 18 Hp Volvo Diesel Engine and Trailer. This is an absolutely awesome custom-built wood boat with a fiberglass outer coating and brassbronze hardware. The wood and woodwork is incredible (as a very detailed woodworker for over forty years I know quality work). The 2002 Volvo Diesel Engine only has approx 250 hours (my boat mechanic indicated its not even broken in). Because it had been warehoused for many years, we recently had it completely serviced by a master mechanic (impeller replaced, oil change, bulge pump replacement, etc). The engineprop shaft and dripless was just replaced. The exterior teak wood has recently been professionally refinished (with three coats of high quality Sikkens-Cetol Marine Natural Teak wood finish. The teak wood deck and swim ladder platform has recently been professionally refinished with three coats of high-quality Teak Oil. This type of boat is built for cruising. It is not built for speed. The 18 Hp diesel pushes the little boat to a nice cruising speed. This boat is absolutely beautiful, outrageously unique and a real eye catcher. We cannot take it anywhere without people asking about it, photographing it and taking selfies with it in the background.
